Welcome to the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Victoria. The Board was formed in December 2000 under the Chinese Medicine Registration Act 2000 and continues from 1 July 2007 under the Health Professions Registration Act 2005 (the Act). The purpose of the Act is to protect the public.The Board registers Chinese herbal medicine practitioners, acupuncturists and dispensers of Chinese herbs and conducts investigations into notifications about registrants' professional conduct or fitness to practise.
