1. That SITCM implement more explicit treatment of CMRB graduate attributes in relevant units in the Bachelor Traditional Chinese Medicine (BTCM) course in the following areas:
a. issues of safety, where the attributes are not expressly stated for dealing with adverse events (CMRB graduate attribute #20), reporting adverse events (35),
referral to peers/others (32);
b. issues of ethics/ professionalism (30, 33, 34, 25, 26);
c. issues about working in the Australian health care context (29, 36, 32) (see 4.5.1 and Appendix 2 for the list of CMRB Graduate Attributes).
2. That SITCM clarify in a single public document the transition arrangements and associated procedures which apply to access the BTCM for the benefit
of current students, graduates and other students who may have exited the Advanced Diploma mid stream.
3. That SITCM include the complete range of pao zhi techniques in the relevant unit’s learning outcomes, and ensure practical training
and direct assessment of pao zhi skills, and improve the facilities to provide for practical classes and assessment of pao zhi skills.
4.That it be specified that students are ensured to have had roughly equal clinical training in acupuncture and in Chinese herbal medicine/dispensing.
